This course has been developed to enable people who work with or care for infants and children on a regular basis, the opportunity to further there knowledge and skills and learn vital life saving techniques in the event of an emergency.
Parents would also benefit from the skills developed on the course and gain the confidence to deal withy an emergency situation should it arise at home.

4. The assessment of casualties (DRABC)
5. The causes of unconsciousness and the treatment.
6. The recovery position.
7. Asphyxiation/Suffocation.
8. The resuscitation techniques.
9. Heart stoppage/ C-P-R
10. The choking infant/child & The treatment.
11. The bleeding infant/child & The treatment.
12. Head injuries to infants & children.
13. Meningitis/Croup/Convulsions
