This course is designed to enable competent AED users to deliver AED training within the workplace and in other settings.
Who Needs This Qualification?First aiders in the workplace, first aid trainers, people with responsibility for training others.
Assesment- Practical demonstration
- Delivery of short lesson
The candidate will be able to:
- Identify the key requirements as laid down by the European Resucitation Council
- Identify key parts of an AED
- Identify documentation required in the use of AED
- Demonstrate delivery of an AED lesson
- State facts about the use and the benefits of AED use
